In Weatherby Hall

Before Robert Whitlow wrote his first bestselling novel, The List, he had no ambition whatsoever to write. He woke one morning thinking about how people don'’t realize the extent to which the past influences the present. While driving to work that morning, an idea for a novel regarding this thought came to his mind. That night he mentioned it to his wife who said, "“You should write it!"” So he did. And he continues to write – 13 books later, Robert and his wife, Kathy, will be our Primetimer guests. Get your $8* ticket by October 6.

2014 Women's Retreat at the Cove in Asheville, NC

Thursday, Oct 16, 2014
Women

October 16 – 18, 2014
Special guest speaker: Carolyn Weber
Discover refreshing solitude and beauty walking wooded trails, enjoy quiet time by a stream or relax in miles of breathtaking mountainous views. Join with Women of Central to experience peace and tranquility as we focus upon God and His Word. From her book, Holy Is the Day Carolyn will reflect on God's work in the everyday places of life, from the kitchen to the crucible, the classroom to the emergency room. Life pulls us in many different directions, even to the point of pulling our souls apart. We know rest and reflection are necessary. Even Jesus took time away from the crowds, away from the demands of everyday life, to pray, to spend time with friends.

We are unable to accept registration without a completed registration form and a deposit of $100. Deposit is nonrefundable. Space is limited; therefore only registration received with deposit monies for everyone in the room will be reserved. Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Main Campus, Women

In Weatherby Hall
Special Guest: Jill Marquis

Millions of women silently carry the pain and heartache of a previous abortion. It is our desire to see those affected by abortion forgiven and set free by our Lord. Many are trying desperately to hide their secret deep in their hearts, and many are suffering severe consequences. With love and compassion, we want to show these women how to replace the enemy’s lies with God’s truths, leading to healing and freedom. Special guest, Jill Marquis, is a post-abortive woman who will share her testimony of how she found forgiveness in Christ. Jill serves as national trainer for “Surrendering the Secret” a bible based, post-abortive study.

Bundles of Love Baby Shower: We are partnering with Pregnancy Resource Center of Charlotte and you can represent the love of Christ by donating items to mothers-to-be. The Pregnancy Resource Center provides free services and support for women in the Charlotte area who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy.
