Loving a Prodigal

Most every Christian has someone they love who has turned away from the God who loves them to a worldly, and sometimes sinful, lifestyle. Parents of wayward children especially suffer as they deal with conflicting emotions of anger, guilt, and confusion as they grieve the rejection of a child who once ran to their arms for protection. On the other hand, some children long for the unconditional love, security and enjoyment of parents who believe and trust in the God they serve. Couples also struggle when they’re not on the same page spiritually. Siblings and friends lose the unity in their relationship when one of them rejects the Christian lifestyle. The Dodds will reveal numerous ideas on what to do while waiting for God to work, helpful teachings about how to deal with the pain, and powerful stories of answered prayer. They will also discuss their own journey as parents of prodigal children and what they learned about hope and peace in the midst of pain.

Many are foregoing the emotional investment of a healthy relational connection and settling for a counterfeit of the sexual experience God intended, born out of love, respect, and marital oneness. You will learn how to appreciate, handle, and grow from the differences God created in men and women whether you’re single preparing for a relationship, dating, engaged or married.
