Missions

The International Missions Program at Central Church began as a result of a mission trip to Ecuador in September 1992. During the past 15 years this outreach has expanded to include 36 countries and currently assists in the support of 86 missionaries and ministries. In addition to the financial support that Central provides, we have been privileged to send out close to 2,000 individuals from Central on short-term mission trips to many countries around the world.
The Missions Program is an exciting and dynamic discipleship and outreach program that is open to everyone who has a deep desire to be used by the Lord and who wants to personally experience and grow in Christ in ways that they never could through the local church environment. Short-term missions is a life-changing experience that not only challenges individuals to discover and develop the gifts and abilities the Lord has given them, but allows them the opportunity to use them for His glory. Most individuals who participate on these mission trips come back with a deeper and more fervent desire to pray for the lost, to know the Lord more intimately, and with a burden for the work of the Lord throughout the world.
If you would like to be a part of a team that will not only give you an opportunity to impact lives around the world with the Gospel but also to experience the total life-changing effects that short-term missions can have on your walk with the Lord, please contact the Missions Department for an application form by calling 704.364.5003, ext. 6865.
There are over 1.6 billion people in the world who have never heard the name of Jesus and 2.4 billion who have heard the Gospel but have never made a personal commitment to Christ. That means that 2/3 of the world's population is destined to an eternity without Christ. We have the responsibility as believers to take the light that dwells within us to a lost and dying world! Change your life and someone else's by taking that step of faith and signing up to
GO! You
CAN make a difference!!
