Short-Term Missions

The mainstay of the Central Missions Program for the past 18 years has been the short-term mission team.  All of our teams usually meet together once a week for 12 weeks prior to the trip and are thoroughly educated in the culture and people they will be visiting as well as spending a lot of time in preparation for their ministry.

These teams minister in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the host who receive the teams The different types of ministries include Vacation Bible Schools, prayerwalking, teaching, encouraging fellow believers and missionaries, and providing humanitarian assistance.

If you are interested in applying for one of these teams, please complete an application form and turn it into the Missions Department. Applications for 2012 Teams will be accepted beginning November 1, 2011. Teams are normally formed early in the year and it is important that you submit your application as soon as possible.
