Donations for Ministry to Foster Children

Mecklenburg County Foster Care
 

Central's outreach department is collecting donations for our ministry to foster children.We will use donated items to fill emergency care bags for children who are removed from their homes due to negligence and/or abuse. We need NEW, basic clothing/supply items in all sizes in the following categories:

• Boys' and girls' pajamas, underclothes, socks, tennis shoes and dress shoes, school clothes, and clothing appropriate for church
• Baby sleepers, onesies, diapers, receiving blankets, bibs, clothing, bottles and pacifiers, training pants (Pull-ups)
• School supplies, toiletries, duffel bags (no suitcases please)

Central’s class for children with special needs

This is a wonderful opportunity to teach children about Jesus. We have lots of one on one time with the kids, so we can show them how much God loves them and how much their church family cares about them. We need volunteers to help during the 8:30am and 10:30am Sunday services and Wednesday evening services. We would also love to hear from you if you have a child who could benefit from this specialized class.
