Facility Information

Rehearsals

Wedding rehearsals will be held at 6:30 PM the night before your wedding. We make every effort to complete each rehearsal within a 2 hour time frame.

We do NOT rehearse with musicians the night of the rehearsal. An audio engineer will arrive 1 ½ hours prior to the wedding to assist musicians and vocalists with rehearsals and sound check. All musical rehearsals must be finished 45 minutes prior to the wedding.

Dinners and Receptions

Central Church has a beautiful Family Life Center available for rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. After scheduling this facility through the Wedding Coordinator, it is the couple’s responsibility to contact the church’s Food Service Coordinator, who will handle all your reception arrangements.

Decorations

CentralChurch considers your wedding a part of its ministry and has sought to provide the couple with an attractive setting in our church sanctuary. The following are available for your use upon request: one 15 candle brass fan-style candelabra, two 13 candle brass tree-style candelabras, brass unity candle holder, brass pew candles, kneeling bench, columns, and chalice for communion. No tacks, nails, or glue may be used to fasten any decorations to the furniture or building.

Only silk flower petals may be thrown in the aisles of the sanctuary. It is requested that rice and birdseed NOTbe thrown on church property.

All decorations belonging to the wedding party should be removed from the sanctuary immediately after the wedding and prior to the reception.

General Information

Since the wedding is a joyous occasion held in a sacred setting, all members of the wedding party and their guests are expected to conduct themselves in a Christian manner at all times. Please be sure that ALL members of the wedding party attending the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception dress appropriately.

Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited anywhere on the grounds or in the buildings. No one will be allowed to participate at the rehearsal, ceremony, or reception that may be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
