God gave us the institution of marriage as the closest of all human relationships. What attributes go into making a great marriage? What were the issues Paul was so “concerned” about and why? This letter of Paul's addresses more church doctrine than any other. See how Corinthians can be applied to the Church today. This fall we will discuss marriage (chapter seven), food sacrificed to idols (chapter eight), the rights of an apostle (chapter nine), warnings from Israel's history, idol feasts, the Lord's Supper and Christian liberty (chapters ten and eleven).
Leaders: Paul & Carol Tompkins
The focus of this class is to bring people into a relationship one with another in the Family of God for the purpose of learning to live a disciplined Christian life. The heart of the class is a lively verse by verse study of God’s Word filled with great discussion on how to apply it in our daily lives. The class also meets in small groups monthly to develop strong relationship and body ministry. Other various social events are also held throughout the year to further develop a family atmosphere. We will be studying 2 Peter starting in January.
Leaders: David & Terry Bilotta
