Men of Acts

A “handy man” type ministry made up of men who volunteer to work in the homes of singles, single parents, elderly, widowed or disabled who otherwise could not afford to have the work done. The kind of work that the Men of Acts ministry performs includes jobs around the house such as shrub pruning, grass cutting, leaf raking, minor plumbing repairs, painting, gutter cleaning, fence mending, ramp building and picture hanging. Men of Acts also repairs floors, make minor carpentry repairs, minor electrical repairs and even helps people move.

The Men of Acts not only repair things, we also repair lives as we minister to the people as we are working on their homes. Our men take time to pray, to listen and to show the love of Jesus Christ to the homeowner with whom they are working.

We are made up of men from all walks of life whose desire is to use their time and skills to minister to others. While the level of skills may vary from man to man, all we ask is that our volunteers are willing to do whatever needs to be done.
