(n.) men and women who love Jesus, and without pay, passionately use their God-given gifts to make Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings the best hours of the week for the kids He sends their way, and in so doing…change the world!

We at Central Church are so thankful for every person that God sends our way to serve in Kids Central. We feel we have the best volunteers in Children’s Ministry and believe God is using each one to impact the Kids of Central with Life...for life!

Listed below are just a sample of the various opportunities you have to serve. Please look over them and feel free to print and complete a volunteer application and background check. Once these forms are completed you may drop them off at Kids Central on Sundays and Wednesdays during service times or at the administrative offices of Central Church of God. Our church office is open M-Th 9-5 and Fr 9-1. If you have additional questions, please feel free email Courtney.

Volunteer Opportunities

Sundays

• Greeter: Smile, greet, and welcome kids and their families before each service
• Audio Technician: Run a sound system for our 8:30 & 10:30am Sunday services after observation and training. Prior experience is helpful but not required.
• Lighting Technician: Run a lighting board for our 8:30 & 10:30am Sunday services after observation & training. Prior experience is helpful but not required.
• Sunday School Teacher: Teach an age-level class at one of our services. Curriculum and training provided.
• Sunday School Teacher Assistant: Assist the Lead Teacher during one of our services.
• Kids Central Assistant: Interact with the children during service and help with offering, object lessons and skits. Training provided
• Elementary Choir Assistants: Work with the Director to assist in training and leading Children's Choir students.
• Project Workers: Help with projects during the week; making copies, running errands, cleaning & organizing toys.
